BOOK SALE
Hiebert Library will hold its semi-annual book sale beginning Monday, February 4, 2008. The sale will run several weeks.

BLOOD DRIVE
FPU and MBBS Blood drive on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 10am - 3pm. Location: Steinert Hall - Student Lounge. If you need a map, stop by the NW Wing office. Free t-shirt for all donors. Donors will also be entered in a Raffle drawing.

FPU STRING DAY
February 9th. String Day offers serious string players (grades 7-12) the opportunity to experience an intense day-long workshop with FPU string faculty. Christopher Rosik, the CAPS Fresno area coordinator hopes that you you will be able to join him and many others on the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 12th, where he will be previewing the results of a research project comparing the experiences of religiously based prejudice and discrimination reported by Christian students at Fresno State and Fresno Pacific.
He'll also be presenting this information at the CAPS convention in April. If you are interested in attending that, it is in Phoenix and there will be a full schedule of presentations available to you, which you can find on the website here. Lots of CE's will be available, and consider that the flight will be a quick, nonstop flight from Fresno to Phoenix.

ALPHA equips a team of leaders to introduce unchurched people and new Christians to a thoughtful understanding of faith and discipleship through a relaxed, caring community that combines learning and warm relationships. The program includes a fun fellowship meal, an interesting lecture on basic Christian faith, and small discussion groups.

WINE AND CHEESE, FILM AND DISCUSSION
The next in this series of Wine and Cheese, Film and Discussion evenings will be a showing of another aware-winning documentary, called "I Remember Me", 'the first full-length documentary to explore the controversial and mysterious history of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, an illness that, according to the CDC, is now forty time greater in prevalence than previously estimated. Post-film discussion will focus on clinical issues in working with people who have CFS and Fibromyalgia with Author of "The Feel Good Guide to Fibromyalgia: A Comprehensive Resource for Recovery", Lynette Bassman, PH.D.
