RANDALL BUTH LECTURENovember 29th at 12:45 - 1:50, location TBA. "How Learning with the Rabbis Helped Me Better Understand Jesus". Dr. Randall Buth (PhD, Semitic Languages, UCLA 1987) spent 20 years in Africa working in Bible translation. He now lives in Jerusalem, Israel, where he is the founder/director of the Biblical Language Center and occasional adjunct lecturer at the Hebrew University. He is published in the fields of Old and New Testament exegesis, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek studies, Bible translation, Synoptic Gospels, and more. Dr. Buth will be sharing some of the fruit of these study sessions over the last thirty years.

SEMINAR ON FORGIVENESS
"Unwrapping the Gift of Forgiveness" will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 9 am to 5 pm at Fresno Friends Community Church. This seminar is designed to help you unwarp, discover and experience all aspects of authentic forgiveness. Cost if registered before November 3rd is $25. PROTECTING THE HOME OF THE RESPLENDENT QUETZAL
Sunday, November 11 at 3pm in FPU's Steinert Campus Center, room 103. This lecture titled "Protecting the Home of the Resplendent Quetzal: conservation through community development" will be presented by MCC Quatemala service workers. Rob and Tara Cahill will present this public lecture and photo essay relating how their work on food security overlaps with cutting edge conservation efforts. FPU is hosting a prayer labyrinth on November 14th. It is an all day event.
CAPS "CLINICIAN'S TOOLBOX SPECIAL"
Counselors are always in need of more practical tools to expand their clinical expertise. Clinicans attending this CAPS meeting are requested to bring one or two interventions that they have found especially useful in their practice to share with those in attendance. URBAN MISSION FRESNO

The Urban Mission Fresno is a weekend of innter city ministry that invites people to encounter Jesus as they serve the city of Fresno. THE FULLER SYMPOSIUM
The Fuller Symposium on the Integration of Psychology and Theology for February 20-23, 2008. The symposium is an academic gathering place in which integration can be tackled on an intellectual level. Students are given the opportunity to learn from scholars in many fields concerning the various intersections of theology and psychology. Speakers will include Mark McMinn, Keith meador, Marsha Linehan, William Miller and LeRon Shults.
Plans are already being made. Please let David Rose know if you are interested in attending all or part of the Fuller Symposium. We plan to carpool with MBBS and FPU faculty and students. However, housing is limited so we want to make reservations as soon as possible.
